I grew up in Belgium and spent many years leading children's activities and summer camps. I trained and worked as a primary school teacher and in 2016, I travelled to the uk to complete my Forest School Leader Level 3 training. I gained lots of experience through my years of volunteering and working in various forest schools in the Somerset area. Alongside this, I worked as a supply teacher and in 2020 I taught class 1 and 2 in the Bristol Steiner School. In 2021, I moved to Danby Dale in North Yorkshire joining Esk Valley Camphill Community as a Shared Lives Carer. Bringing up my three young children in Danby Dale, surrounded by nature, has enabled me to foster my passion for the outdoors and share this with my children and those around me.
I like exploring crafts such as green woodwork, willow weaving, wood carving, bushcraft, woodland crafts and I am eager to learn more every day. I hope to inspire everyone with my enthusiasm for nature. In today's world, making a connection to our natural world is more important than ever before.
